Instead of a "cure," doctors often use the term "remission" when treatment is successful, meaning the cancer is responding to treatment or is under control.
Various treatments are used, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, often in combination.
Research is in progress in Biotechnology field to genetically modify cancer cells.
